Hello everyone, Cyndi here, and thank you for visiting my art site.
I enjoy art, watching YouTube videos on different artist subjects and media, acrylic painting, a little watercolor, graphite, sculpture, and charcoal drawing too. While growing up, I was only ever into music…singing to be specific, but I dabbled in a little art and used it as a therapy to escape, and still do today.
With adulthood, I was absorbed in my work and motherhood and rarely ever picked up a brush. Later, as a technical analyst, I decided to go back to college since I had reached the limits of my career with an AS degree in computer science. I thought a BS in media art and animation would give me the degree I needed to advance in my job, it was a type of computer science heavily software-driven and was a creative outlet that I enjoyed. While I did change jobs, it was a lateral move and I ended up retiring early for various reasons.
I recently found the YouTube artist @MiroslavSunjkic and watched his video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yosW2EVghhM for the hill clouds I drew above. I hadn’t picked up charcoal in years, but it was my first art tool as a teen. I loved looking at my dirty hands and facial smudges afterward!
I have since learned to use WordPress, built a couple of websites, and some YouTube channels, and worked for various clubs and groups artistically and I do enjoy it very much. I am an animal lover and retired analyst and sometimes I enjoy buying art supplies as much as using them!
